Joining The Boost Gang

I am huge trainer/sneaker fan, I love Stan Smith’s, NMD’s, Comme Des Garçons, Ultra Boost, Yeezy’s, the list goes on… I’ve wanted to grab myself a pair of Adidas with ‘Boost’ for a good while, but, I’ve always waited out, hoping I’d manage to snatch a pair of the latest Yeezy 350’s. Unfortunately, like most, I’ve taken an L every damn time (If anyone wants to hook me up, I’m a UK 8).

So, when I was doing a bit of shopping in St. Ives last month I could not resist when I spotted a pair of Uncaged Ultra Boost, in my size, in the window of one of my favourites stores – Number 8.

I picked up the boost in the “collegiate” colourway, at retail price (£130) and was super keen to see whether the boost sole lived up to its hype. I love the silhouette and design of the shoe, particularly the prime-knit upper, which hugs my ankles. I’ve been wearing them loads. And, yes, they are insanely comfy.

Ignoring the hype that surrounds the boost sole I would honestly say they’re the comfiest shoes I’ve worn. As well a the awesome aesthetic, they’re super light and you almost don’t feel like you’ve got shoes on! I hugely recommend the boost sole and can safely say it won’t be my last pair.

48 Hours at London Fashion Week

If you read last weeks blog post or follow me on Instagram (@_adamkay_) then you’ll know that earlier this month I was lucky enough to attend London Fashion Week, thanks to my wonderful girlfriend who booked it for us as part of my Christmas present.

I was also extremely lucky to receive tickets for the AW17 Joshua Kane show, held at The London Palladium, and renowned in the press recently as LFW’s biggest show yet! Fashion Week was an amazing experience, for me as a photographer – I was able to photograph a tonne of street style (Available to view on my blog next week!) and as a fashion lover I was able to be at the event and soak it all up but also, see my first fashion show – which was incredible.

You can see everything we got up to at LFW in my video below, I hope you enjoy it…

Hastings Watches

I love wrist wear, there’s no doubt about it, and I think a great watch can completely transform a look from good to great. That’s why I’ve teamed up with Hastings & Co to show you their amazing and timeless (excuse the pun) watches and, if you read until the end, there might be a discount code *hint*.

The watch I chose from Hastings was their rose gold classic edition watch, with brown crocodile leather strap; I went with this one because I have been after a nice leather strap watch for a while but have never found one I truly loved, until I saw this one.  It’s a stunning timepiece that can work well with anything, be it smarter and more formal looks or a casual look that you want to mix up a little, this watch is perfect.

The idea behind Hastings is that everyone should be able to afford luxury timepieces and I can safely say that not only is this watch affordable it is definitely luxury. The genuine crocodile leather looks and feels incredible and the small attention to details like the tiny engravings on the watches buckle and battery prove that time and effort has gone into making this watch.

As well as loving wrist wear, I also love good packaging and Hastings have got theirs spot on. The watch comes in a gorgeous leather box that presents the timepiece beautifully and is great for storing the watch in when you’ve not got it on your wrist.

If leather isn’t your thing, or you’re looking for something more casual, then don’t be disheartened, Hastings & Co have a range of watches in different styles for both men and women, so I’m sure you’ll be able to find your ideal timepiece. And if you change your mind in the future, the great thing about Hastings watches is that the straps are flawlessly interchangeable, so if you fancy a change later down the line it’s no problem.

If you love the Hastings watches as much as I do then feel free to grab yourself 15% off by entering the promo code ‘adamkay15’ at checkout!

This was a sponsored post. However ALL opinions mentioned were ENTIRELY my own. Thanks to Hastings & Co  for sending me their watch to review. If you have any PR enquiries please send them via my Contact page.
