My Current Favourites

I thought I’d start the blog back up by curating a few of my favourite things right now….

1. First up is Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Overnight Hydrating Masque and their Men’s Lip Balm! The mask, I got a sample of at the start of the month when I was doing some shopping in Kiehl’s and I will 110% be purchasing the full-size tub. This is a moisturising masque that you apply after cleansing your skin and leave on overnight. It’s aim is to “replenish your skin’s water reserves”. I’ve always struggled with my skin and my T-Zone can often get very dry, but after using this product my skin genuinely felt so hydrated and refreshed it was great! I used it around 3 nights a week and the results were really visible and I honestly think it’s cleared up my skin, a lot. The lip balm is also super hydrating and stays matte, which is exactly what I need, especially in the cold weather right now.

2. Next, is this Louis Vuitton card holder, its made with their traditional leather and embossed with a Volez Voguez Voyagez design, which I love! It can fit about two cards in which is perfect for nights out when I don’t want too much bulk in my pockets! And, I got it as a freebie because my parcel was delayed which makes it even more amazing.

3. Crep Protect is my 3rd current favourite. I’m such a lover of trainers and shoes in general and this stuff keeps them protected so well! I managed to keep my new NMD’s really fresh, even in the rainy UK weather! I got a gift set with their cleaning solution and wipes and they’re also super helpful for if I do get my shoes dirty. Since having them I always have a couple wipes in my backpack for emergencies!

4. Finally, a bit of reading for you all… I loved “The subtle art of not giving a fuck” by Mark Manson. I read it whilst on holiday in Lanzarote in January and it was a really refreshing perspective to start the year! I’d 100% recommend it!

On the same refreshing wavelength, I’m super happy to be back to my blog and I’m keen to work hard and produce some really great fashion and travel content so stay tuned through 2018 and be sure to follow my social media channels (Links in sidebar).

Beach Day

During the October half term I took a trip down to Cornwall with my family, as I do most years. This year my girlfriend, Eleanor, and her family were holidaying in Cornwall too, they invited me to stay with them for a couple of days, and I had a lovely time. This is a short video I made of the day we spent flying kites and taking photos on the beach. Enjoy…

Festival Style

This week a few friends, my girlfriend and I attended Fusion Festival, in Birmingham; an annual music festival held in Cofton Park. We had a great time and got to see some incredible acts including Dj Fresh and Ed Sheeran!

I wore some Super Skinny Jeans from River Island which are custom ripped on and above the knees. I paired this with a grey scoop neck t-shirt from All Saints. I liked the scoop neck because it has a ripped look to it which I thought went well with my jeans. As I’m in England the weather is completely unpredictable, even in summer, so I brought along an oversized red Timberland sweatshirt for during the day and evening if it were to get cold. I rolled up the end of the sleeves as it is oversized and I really like this look. Sticking with the Timberland theme I wore a pair of classic Timberland boots with my outfit because 1) they fit in with my style really well and 2) it wouldn’t matter if the park became very muddy, I would be prepared. Finally, I wore Ray-Ban’s Erika style sunglasses because as I mentioned earlier, English weather is very unpredictable!

I had a great time at Fusion Festival and was really pleased with my outfit as it remained comfortable, practical and stylish throughout the entire day.

Pages from my Travelogue

SCAN0004The Travelogue has a collection of awesome little maps which you can scratch off once you’ve visited a place, as you can see Lanzarote is pretty tiny when put on the map!

As you open up the journal there’s plenty of spaces for you to plan your trip, including LOADS of space for checklists. I find making lists is an easy and useful way of keeping organised whilst away and the Travelogue helps with this by printing some essential items into the book and then giving you more space to write your own lists.

Further on in the book there is a section for memorabilia and photos, so I thought I’d share a few of these pages…

SCAN0005SCAN0008The Travelogue is a great companion to have whilst you’re off adventuring I would recommend it to everyone who is interested in documenting and remembering their travels!

This was a sponsored post. However ALL opinions mentioned were ENTIRELY my own. Thanks to Luckies of London  for sending Eleanor and I their Travelogue to review. If you have any PR enquiries please send them via my Contact page.

Lanzarote – The Film

Just over 2 weeks ago, myself, my girlfriend and my family took a trip to Lanzarote for a couple of weeks of summer sun! I had the best time, it was so nice to be able to relax with nothing getting in the way. The following film is a collection of all my favourite moments from the trip and I am really pleased with how it turned out, I think it could be my best video yet!

I also owe a big thank you to Luckies of London, who provided Eleanor and I with the awesome Travelogues that you’ll see in the video, it was awesome to have a place to store memorabilia, Polaroid photos and all the important stuff whilst on our adventure, I wouldn’t hesitate to grab yourself one of these if you’re a keen traveller, or somebody who wants to get into travel.

I am definitely suffering from some post holiday blues, but this film takes me right back. I hope you love it as much as me…

Casual, monochrome summer look

Monochrome looks have become very popular recently and I am a huge fan, so I thought it only right to share a monochrome look that I’ve loved this summer.
My t-shirt is from Topman and it features small black palm trees all over, with big block words reading “South Cali.” – I love the print and feel it just has a really summery feel to it. The sleeves are pre-rolled up, which just makes life so much easier, there’s no worry that they’re not the same length or that they’re falling down.

If it’s not clear already, I really like these black super skinny shorts, I have worn others though don’t worry, but for this monochrome look it was only right to pair the t-shirt with these!

Finally, my shoes. These are Converse “Sawyer” Style low-tops in white leather, and I bloody love them. At first I was petrified to remove them from the box, in fear that I’d spill something all over them, but they’ve stayed pretty clean *takes sigh of relief*. They’re a very minimal style converse, which is really why I love them and I’ve not seen them around before which is an extra bonus!
