48 Hours at London Fashion Week

If you read last weeks blog post or follow me on Instagram (@_adamkay_) then you’ll know that earlier this month I was lucky enough to attend London Fashion Week, thanks to my wonderful girlfriend who booked it for us as part of my Christmas present.

I was also extremely lucky to receive tickets for the AW17 Joshua Kane show, held at The London Palladium, and renowned in the press recently as LFW’s biggest show yet! Fashion Week was an amazing experience, for me as a photographer – I was able to photograph a tonne of street style (Available to view on my blog next week!) and as a fashion lover I was able to be at the event and soak it all up but also, see my first fashion show – which was incredible.

You can see everything we got up to at LFW in my video below, I hope you enjoy it…

I’m Back!

It’s been some time but finally exams are finished and I’m back to blogging! I’ve really missed updating my blog , so to start off I thought I would do a short post laying out what you guys can expect to see on my blog this summer.

Since I’ve now finished school, I’ve got 12 weeks off to relax and make some awesome content. I’ve got loads planned this summer and I am keen to share it all on my blog. I’m going to be posting every Sunday as usual and occasionally on Wednesday’s too. I really want to include more travel based posts on my blog and also some recipes and lifestyle posts. I’m excited to share what I get up to this summer, I have a feeling it will be great!

Champagne Breakfast

IMG_0337IMG_0412WITHTEXTIMG_0416 copyIMG_0353 copyIMG_0361Yesterday, for my Dads birthday, we all went to a Champagne Breakfast at The Bay Tree, in Melbourne. I had been looking forward to it all week and can safely say I was not disappointed. The food was great, the atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely and it couldn’t of been better.

My outfit for the day consisted of smart, dark wash jeans, a grey flannel shirt, unbuttoned with a white T-shirt underneath. I think having the shirt open makes it a little more casual and not too overdressed. I paired this look with tan coloured Chelsea boots, which I rolled up to show off the boots more. I love denim on leather, I think it looks awesome. Over this I wore a warm, black wool coat, as the winter weather is still lurking.

Four Favourites

As we’re more than half way through January I thought I’d share with you  my four favourite things this month.

First off, Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray, I got this for Christmas and have been using it daily since then and can safely say it’s the best hair product I’ve ever used. It gives hair a great beauty look and feel that stay all day. It’s a more up market product, but out of the different surf sprays I’ve tried it’s been the best, by far.

For a while now I’ve wanted to start a wall of Polaroid sized photos in my room. Polagram is an App that lets you order photos in Polaroid size, so I decided to give it a go. I ordered my prints and they were here in no time. They’re excellent quality and I’m really impressed. Polagram offer lots of other products such as phone cases, photo books, calendars, posters and different sized prints. And, you can get £2 off your first order using the code PGC3FMNF at checkout, so download the app and order some prints!

Third on my list is, The Body Shop’s Maca Root Shave Cream For Men. I’ve been using this shave cream since the start of January and it’s awesome. It gives a really smooth, soft shave. It smells great and lathers perfectly. If you need a new shave cream I’d definitely recommend this one.

Finally, smoothies. One of my goals this year is to be healthier and I have been really enjoying healthy, fruit packed smoothies. As well as buying smoothies, I’ve loved making them too. They’re really simple and full of healthiness, so if you want to be a little healthier too, smoothies are definitely the way to go.
