I love the sleek design of the Apple Watch, it’s neat, comfortable and fits in well with every style I wear, no matter whether it be super casual or extremely smart. This is not only thanks to the neat design but also the large range of watch faces, from Chronographs to Mickey Mouse, it’s completely customisable. Typically I use ‘Modular’ because it allows me to see the date, time, and what’s up next on my calendar, which is perfect for when I’m in college, as I can see what lessons I have next. Having my calendar on my wrist is one of my favourite features of the watch, especially now that Watch OS2 has introduced Apple’s ‘Time Travel’ feature, allowing you to use the digital crown to scroll forwards or backwards in time, to see what is coming up in an hour or even the next day!
Another feature of the watch that I love is the pre-installed Activity app, for those of you that haven’t seen this before, it is simply 3 rings that fill up as you complete tasks throughout the day. The first is for movement, the second exercise, and the third standing. You can set yourself movement goals and the ring fills up as you get closer and closer to your goal. I’m not a majorly active person but having the challenge of filling up these rings everyday has 100% made me move around more and be more active.
I have heard a lot of people say that the Apple Watch is not yet a useful tool, but I would have to argue, not only does the Apple Watch look amazing on your wrist but it has definitely made my life more productive and efficient, simple things like sending or reading a text on the go no longer require me to get my phone out of my pocket in busy situations I can do it all from my wrist. Checking my calendar, looking at the weather, even following directions when I’m travelling, it’s so simple and helpful, I wouldn’t want to be without it now!
