Whilst in Manchester visiting my Grandma we went out for a meal at a new restaurant in Didsbury called ‘Croma’. For a while we had seen it being done up and it opened on Monday so we thought we’d go and try it out…
Food – 5/5
The food here was excellent, there is such a variety of pizzas to have, from your basic Ham and Cheese, to a Tandoori Chicken. I chose for starter the garlic dough balls and the dough was perfectly cooked and there was just the right amount of garlic, they were delicious. As was my pizza, I had a Chicken Caesar Pizza, and it honestly was the nicest pizza I’ve ever tasted. It was cooked to perfection, there was plenty of chicken and the house dressing was really tasty! For dessert I had the Lemon Cheesecake, which is one of my favourite desserts and it really was yummy! One of the best meals I’ve had at a restaurant in a long time!
Decor – 5/5
I really love the interior in Croma, it’s stunning. All of the tables and chairs are white and they also have a really nice long blue and white striped booth along the back wall of the restaurant. They have a few wooden shelves with quirky vintage pieces on, old books, and bottles. I am a huge fan of the interior, it is so aesthetically pleasing. My personal favourite is the bar area though, it has a lovely wooden front with a white top and stainless steel bar stools, which I love!
Coffee – 4/5
I love to have a coffee after my meal (Well, I like to have a coffee at anytime of the day if I’m honest). Here I had a really tasty flat white, it was a delicious cup of coffee. Perfect temperature, and a really nice blend. It had a little bit of a bitter after taste, but you can get that with a lot of coffee and it definitely didn’t put me off!
Overall – 5/5
Croma was one of the nicest restaurants I’ve been to. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was great, as was the decor and the staff were really nice and friendly, they’d stand and have conversation with you and it was just a nice vibe! They really have it right, and I would recommend it to anyone! I also found out there was one in Loughborough, a lot closer to where I live, and I’m sure I’ll be visiting at some point, or even getting a take-away from there! It’s definitely a great restaurant, be sure to check out their website
Sorry if the pictures aren’t the best, I only had my iPhone with me at the time. Thanks
